• Whee! Yesterday I finally got my tickets for Cirque du Soleil's Love show at the Mirage in Las Vegas. I'm not really a Beatles fan, but my parents are and the tickets are in celebration of my dad's birthday. My next trip to Vegas is a family trip; later this year I'll be going back with my friends. I just got home after a fun and relaxing Mother's Day weekend in Lake Tahoe/Reno. I'm thoroughly exhausted since I went on an early morning hike and drove all the way home (five hours); I feel like I'm still in motion. As soon as this is posted, I'm off to bed. I had to report at one of the courthouses in Oakland this morning for jury duty. Shortly before the lunch break, my group was told that we were told that we were no longer needed and that we completed our service. Yay!
